CLIENT PROFILE & NEED
A thunder storm drove through the area dropping hail causing significant damage. The obvious damage was seen on vents, gutters and aluminum flashing. More difficult to find is the impact of how the hail affected the shingles and siding. After a comprehensive inspection our team determined there was significant hail damage to a majority of shingles. We presented the customer with an inspection report and scheduled a time to be available to meet their insurance adjuster to confirm the damage. The adjuster agreed and this homeowners insurance paid for a new roof.
PROCESS & CHALLENGES
This rambler had a unique roof configuration including multiple valleys, ridgelines and venting. This customer chose GAF Timberline Shingles for the roof that includes the manufacturers warranty in addition to Aurum Contractings 5 year Gold Standard Warranty for craftsmanship.
